The Around the World Cooking Experience …![cookingimage]()
The Around the World Cooking Experience is a ten week cooking group that offers a fun, interactive, and supportive environment where youth between ages of 18 – 21 who have an intellectual disability can expand their cooking skills and cultural knowledge through learning how to cook delicious and healthy meals from different cultures.
Participants will also:
- Increase knowledge of healthy eating and kitchen safety
- Increase socialization and teamwork skills
- Enhance independence
- Develop leadership skills.
When: Wednesday evenings from 4:00 – 7:00pm, beginning November 18, 2015
Where: 747 Warden Avenue
Cost: Free (Transit tokens available)
